Emergency Home Loan Program

York County Community Action Corporation (YCCAC) is NOT participating in the Emergency Homeowner Loan Program (EHLP).  For your convenience, we have made available the EHLP Pre-application: www.findehlp.org/

You may download and print the Pre-Application.  Once you have completed the pre-application, you must send it to one of the participating local or national housing counseling agencies.  For your convenience we have provided you the lead EHLP housing counseling agency for the State of Maine: (KVCAP) Kennebunk Valley Community Action Corporation.

For EHLP questions or to submit an EHLP Pre-Application, please contact KVCAP at 859-1622.

NOTE:  The Emergency Homeowner Loan Program is based upon a LOTTERY and there is no guarantee that you will qualify or received an Emergency Homeowner Loan.  We encourage you to obtain or continue with HOUSING COUNSELING to review all of your options to solve your mortgage default or foreclosure.

If you desire housing counseling, please contact the York County Community Action Housing Counseling Intake Line at 459-2967.
