General Information

The Energy Assistance Program provides financial and
technical assistance to help York County residents solve
problems regarding:
   Energy use and conservation, and
   Health and safety issues

The Energy Services Program includes:


  
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
     
Assistance with fuel bills
  

   Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP)
     Assistance with Emergency fuel and heating system  maintenance      bills

  
Low Income Assistance Program (LIAP)
     Assistance with Electric bills
  
   Other programs
     Financial assistance for (CMP) Electric Pole
     Installation, Telephone Installation and Monthly Service (TAP)

Eligibility: If you are a resident of York County, and are income
eligible for fuel assistance (LIHEAP), you are eligible for most
energy services programs. Priority is given to people who are
disabled, hypothermic (with Doctor's note), elderly (60 or over)
and/or have children under two years old.
