HOW DO I APPLY?
You may
apply for Head Start by doing one of the following:
Call the main office and pre-qualify over the phone
Fill out and submit the application - Click

Visit your local Head Start center - Click

Once our office receives
an application, parents are notified about the next step in the
process.
Confidentiality:
Head Start will respect the privacy of all families, and hold in
confidence all information obtained throughout the year. Information
in the child’s records will not be released to any agency
or individual without a signed release from the parent or guardian,
with a 24-hour notice to staff.
Exceptions to this will
be, when there is a Child Protective Investigation through Department
of Human Services, in which case the contents of a child’s
records may be given verbally and copies of written records may
be shared with DHS upon request, a court order, or a subpoena.

Receive TANF
Receive SSI
Are applying
for a foster child
Or, meet
federal income guidelines
