York County’s Community Outreach program connects those in need with those who can help through financial assistance, referrals, and education.
The first step to obtaining help through Community Outreach is to contact us. You can schedule an appointment with an Outreach Worker at locations in Sanford, Kittery, and Biddeford; for those who are homebound, the Outreach Worker will come to you. There is no fee for our services, ever. Our goal is to help you and your family achieve independence and financial stability.
Community Outreach can provide information and referral, advocates, and emergency assistance for shelter, utilities, heat, or food. Outreach workers can also help you with long-term goals like establishing or repairing your credit, managing your budget, and building assets. We believe everybody deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their personal circumstances, and offered the skills, knowledge and assistance they need to lead healthy and productive lives.
